Talk:Pale (House)

This is actually a good point. Is the "House" text part of the names or not? If it is, then they should be ie. "House Pale", but if it's not, they should be ie. "Pale (House). If it's the latter form, I think it should a written with capital "H" (like it's at the moment) to differentiate it from a regular "house". dispeptic 12:29, 5 August 2006 (CEST)

Yeah, well if it is really House Pale then Onyx should be House Onyx. I'm just saying it shouldn't be inconsistant. Anything that shares the same name should have something marking it as differently, and I am by no means claiming that (House) is right. (Lost High House) may be better, I really don't know that. Aye, indeed. They should be consistent. That's what I'm pondering about, how they should be written. I think (House) is a good way to mark houses, if we end up writing them that way. dispeptic 21:10, 5 August 2006 (CEST)

I think it would be fine to refer to each house just as its name (eg. Onyx, Pale, Shroud), optionally with (House) on the end. As far as I remember, they've never been called House Onyx etc. That's a Frank Herbert Dune thing!

Hehe, aye. Well, we'll see if we need to add (House) to the article name. For now, IMO, they can be written with only their name in the article name. dispeptic 11:39, 6 August 2006 (CEST)
