Shardship

A Shardship is the primary mode of transport between Shardworlds.

Its shape vaguely resembles a galleon, but it has been carved from stone, and is covered in moss striates. Here and there, you think you see small patches of greenery filling crevices and fissures in its surface. To the sides of the ship, you imagine that you see a gigantic ribcage protruding from the stone, like the sides of the ship are petrified slabs of ribbed meat. But the stone is cold, hard and webbed with moss and algae slime instead of bloody arteries. Elongated quartz forms jutting downwards from its surface distend the belly of the ship. The six-sided prisms, capped with pyramid-like faces, glow in hues of pink, purple, blue and green. Enormous ornate sails have been fastened to the stern and the bow of the Shard ship. - First Journey
