A Torque champion many centuries ago and during the War of Shadows Hammer he became a puppet of the Vhuul, the Vulture people who live in Carnyx, and nearly destroyed the Enclave. Aryones the False One was executed long ago by Maulite and Shroud assassins, yet his legacy lives on.

Before his mind was possessed by the elder Vhuul priest, Archfell, Aryones Ithkari was known as Aryones the Golden or The First Light of Heaven. But after that, when he had killed many of his former brethren and many of the finest warriors of the Enclave, he was named as Shadow's Hammer.
