The Shardworld which is home to the Vhuul.

Carnyx remained untouched and embraced by the Undying Ice since the destruction of the Ancestor World, until explorers found it almost a century after the initial discovery of Mount-of-Heroes.

When Logurhadin the Woestriker and Lady Cormuthesta, accompanied by hunders of soldiers and workers, brought the Barbarian Seal to Carnyx to free the shard from Undying Ice and to claim the shard as their own, they didn't know that by doing so they would release the Vhuul from their prison. A great war was waged when the Enclave lost the Barbarian Seal.

Carnyx remained under control of the Vhuul swarm.
